How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Dr. Maggio was an NCAA Division 3 football player in college. His interests in sports therapy came after receiving successful non-invasive, natural treatment method to an otherwise career-ending spinal injury. After a full Recovery, Dr. Maggio returned to football and received first-team All-Conference recognition. Today, Dr. Maggio is a board certified chiropractic physical in both Florida and New York and operates his practice out of St. Petersburg, FL, with a focus on soft tissue treatment methods.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Being injured sucks. Pain from being injured is even worse. In the current medical model patient's don't get what they deserve, which is a full resolution for their injuries. Adhesion causes decreased mobility, pain and weakness. If you are having pain then you probably have adhesion. Adhesion is the most common problem out there and also the most under-diagnosed condition in the human body. Dr. Maggio is 1 of 3 doctors in all of Florida certified to diagnose and treat adhesion.
